How to add more surrender into your everyday life and find more balance

Our society is not built for you to really surrender. There is always something to be in charge for: work, household, friends, relationships…

Conscious sexuality retreats

We are brought up to be doers.

However, from all this doing and being responsible it is crucial to balance this with letting go if we want the flow of ideas and creativity to be present. That masculine/feminine balance is essential not only for our wellbeing but also to get our goals achieved.

In our BliXX Retreats we see many struggling in fully surrendering. You may also ask yourself how to fully let go?

Here some inputs for you to step into the empowerment that come with surrender:

Write down what has led u to relax

A list of activities that have helped you before to fully relax and calm your mind. This can be a massage, some spanking, or a play fight, or maybe it is to receive clear instructions on what you are supposed to do.

Create a conscious container

Sit down with your play partner and share your list above. For each thing on the list go deeper on the details around your needs and set boundaries.

Power Mudra

In our Youtube channel you find BliXX power mudra, a gesture to support you in letting go of control by detaching your power and handing it over into your partner’s arms.

Stay with your breath

Whenever you feel you hold on, or when the mind chatter continues, take a deep breath and exhale with as much sound as you can.
Through this, you release whatever is holding you back from further surrendering.

Find a personal affirmation that you can remind yourself to drop in deeper

This can be something like: “I allow myself to fully surrender” or “I am safe and protected”
Come up with the words that resonate most with you in letting go.

Resist the impulse of doing=

Whenever you feel to touch back, or to do something, breathe through the impulse without acting on it.

Be gentle with yourself

Remember that surrender is an art that needs to be cultivated and trained like a muscle. Maybe today you can let go 20%, celebrate this success. Next time it will be more and deeper so don’t give up, stay connected to your surrender

Enjoy your devotion to your partner, to yourself and to life!!

And if you don’t have a partner or you have one but you are struggling to get this high-awareness dynamic going, you can always come to our retreats, including Conscious Sexuality Retreats, to practice surrender in a safe container with safe guidance.
